Race or Pace

Would you rather RACE or PACE?
While I was riding a while ago, I saw a couple coming out of their home. I got to chat with one of them.
Me: Bike to work?
Girl: We are off to a meeting at the Quezon City Hall.
Me: That’s great.
Girl: We are with the National Bicycle Organization.
Me: Ayos! I follow you guys in Facebook.
Girl: Cool. You should join us on Sunday for the QC Bike day.

So here it is: Gather the troop and join the fun at the Quezon Memorial Circle at Quezon City on May 31, 2015.
There is going to be a bike parade, so tell your family and friends about it. You can join the slow bike parade or avoid QC on the morning of the 31st. You don’t wanna be stuck in traffic on a Sunday morning.

If racing is your thing, the annual King of the Mountain at Timberland, San Mateo is set to go on Sunday also, May 31!
This is the true test of climbing and mountain riding. Go against other racers and yourself in this grueling yet fun event at the Timberland Estates. It is one of the most looked forwarded to bike events in San Mateo. Race or just be a spectator/supporter, there are a number of interesting things to do at the Timberland Nature Club. (eg.: you can park there!)
People and organizers have come together to create this bike gathering. Long Live Long Climbs.

KOTM

A lot of mountain bikers join this annual event for they feel this is one of the most challenging courses here in the Philippines. Being the “mountain biking capital of the Philippines” (so they claim), San Mateo is not a walk in the park. This is for the strong willed and not for the faint of heart.

It is all up to you, on whether you want to be a racer or poser (no offense, it just rhymes). I am sure both events are filled with good vibes and healthy awareness.
Either way, ride hard!
