What: Marikina Watershed Tree Planting (But the tree planting site is in Antipolo)

6:00 am Meet at Jollibee/Shell Marcos Highway
6:15 to 8:00 Slow steady ride to Boso-Boso (Mang Vics bulalohan)
8:00 to 8:30 Rest stop / quick breakfast (bring your own baon)
8:30 to 9:00 Ride to tree planting site
9:30 to 11:30Tree planting activity
11:30 to 12:30 pmLunch (paluto from local community – bring Php150)
1:00 pm Ride back to Manila

Marikina Watershed Rehabilitation

Marikina watershed reserve consists of 4 municipalities: Antipolo, san Mateo, Rodriguez and Tanay. It has an area of 28,000 hectares, with the estimated 20% remaining forest cover (5,600 ha). It needs additional 34% (9,520 ha) forest cover to achieve a sustainable level of 54% forest cover. 6.7 Million trees to go…
