Mr. Fu simply wanted a pogi bike.
So, we made him a really handsome bike.
It was a choice between getting a road bike or a mountain bike. The geometry of the drop bars did not appeal to his riding style. Thus, when he tried a niner, we knew what was the perfect ride for him. An all-black (with an accent of red) single speed niner.

We chose to build the Surly Karate Monkey simply because of its versatility and sleek sexy looks. The bending seat tube does wonder to the wheelbase of the Monkey. Due to the shorter wheelbase, riding it is such a joy because it is very agile when you demand movement.
