Keep Your Ride Tight

Give love to your bike because it is your main vehicle when you are out there. Maintain the hubs and give attention to them after each “wet” ride. Sealed bearing or not, it is important that you bring your bike to your local bike wrench and have it checked. Imagine you are a race car driver and every ride is a race. Nobody wants mechanical failure in the middle of nowhere, so it is advisable to have a fully optimized bicycle.
Brake pads, make sure they are thick enough.
Shifting, crispy enough to your liking?
Tire Pressure, hard or soft.
Suspension, bounce!
Lube your chain.

With everything, A-OK, you don’t have to worry about your toy. Now you can concentrate on your ride.
