Camp Aguinaldo Bike Adventure Zone— 4cross Dirt trail experience

A nice 2.5km dirt road for the dirt bikers in QC. If you are military, free training; if not, pay 50Php. Nice to know that people are consciously making efforts to have bike parks like these. Very technical with lots of switchbacks and tight turns. Know your line and you can do the course under ten minutes.

How to get there: Go to Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City. Take the gate nearest the intersection of Boni Serano and Katipunan. You surrender your ID to the Military Police and just pedal straight ahead. You won’t miss it.

 

The designer of the course is one amazing biker and National team member. He is Military (obviously!) and all he is assigned to do is pedal and work for the bike duties. Nice assignment, if you really love cycling. Generals, commanders, sergeants, Lt. cols, all have a good time and hang out under the shady tree at the mouth of the track.

If you want a quick fix, practice your bike handling, or technical endurance, this is the right short ride for you. You need to be at the office by 9am? You are done and spent by 7:00am if you started early. This is probably one of the hottest quickies ever. Slam-bam-thank-you-ma’am, I’m done!
